There are a number of commemorative events taking place at the palaces next Tuesday 11 November, please find the details below if you wish to join any of these.
Tower of London, final poppy and remembrance ceremony, from 10.30am
The final ceremony of our major art installation Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red commemorating the centenary of the First World War. Join us for the closing Roll of Honour and answer the signal of the guns that will fire 21 times. Witness the planting of the final poppy in the moat followed by the playing of the last post by a lone bugler.

(Please be aware that Tower Hill is likely to be very busy on the morning, so if you wish to come along please leave plenty of time and plan your journey ahead, taking note of any TfL notices regarding Tower Hill station in particular.)

Remembrance wreath ceremony and moment of silence for reflection.
Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace, 1pm
Commemorate The Fallen as Il Suono present ‘Lux Aeterna’, a concert programme of motets by William Walton, Hubert Parry, Douglas Guest, Robert Ramsey, Thomas Tomkins, William Byrd and Giaches De Wert, woven around Victoria’s sublime six-part setting of the requiem mass. This 45 minute recital is free to palace ticket holders and members of Historic Royal Palaces. As seating in the Chapel Royal is unreserved, please arrive in good time.
